About this Role:

Farmer’s Fridge is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to drive retention and optimize the performance of our Fridge portfolio. This role will be responsible for maintaining relationships with high-margin accounts, renegotiating underperforming locations, and ensuring portfolio excellence. The Account Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with distribution, demand planning, finance, and sales to ensure a seamless customer experience. 

What You’ll Do:

Be the Voice of the Client:

 
  • Champion client feedback internally—collect, synthesize, and advocate for the needs of our partners in a structured, data-driven manner.
  • Work with internal teams to translate feedback into measurable service enhancements with positive ROI.

Solve Ambiguity with Clarity

  • Take initiative in navigating undefined spaces to effectively address client issues and provide the best customer experience. 
  • Diagnose root causes, identify structural gaps, and build thoughtful, scalable solutions to prevent future issues.
  • Be relentlessly solution-oriented—owning problems from identification to resolution.
  • Design and implement our client management framework: define what world-class support looks like across tiers, and ensure we deliver it consistently.

Client Retention:

  • Own the retention strategy for active, positive-margin Fridge accounts
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations to address site-level issues impacting retention
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Tier 1 clients 

Portfolio Management: 

  • Monitor and assess Fridge-level performance to ensure portfolio excellence 
    • Recommend appropriate interventions when necessary (PIP, removal, or relocation)
    • Lead the PIP process for underperforming locations (negative margin accounts), including managing outreach with flagged partners to align on improvement plans
  • Loop in the Sales team when expansion opportunities arise

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of account management experience, preferably in CPG, food service, or retail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience defining and building processes. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Data-Driven and strong analytical skills with the ability to understand a P&L.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate complex client organizations.
  • Customer-obsessed and solutions-oriented.

The base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $120,000. The base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for company performance-based bonuses and equity.
