We offer a variety of fresh, healthy, ready-to-eat meals and snacks through our fresh food vending machines, wholesale partners, and our office pantry solution — providing chef-curated meals to customers within seconds. Today, we operate a network of Fridges and partner with clients nationwide in high-foot-traffic areas, such as airports, hospitals, universities, and large office buildings — where there is limited accessibility to fresh, healthy, grab-n-go options.

As a Payroll and HR Operations Specialist, you will:

  • Process multi-state payroll on a bi-weekly basis
  • Collaborate with HR, Accounting, Finance, and all employees across the company to resolve payroll issues and act as an employee resource
  • Research and implement new policies that affect payroll to stay compliant with local / state guidelines
  • Complete the onboarding process by launching background checks, completing I-9 verification, coordinating equipment, assisting with orientation, etc
  • Work with the HR Specialist to support the LOA process by ensuring employees submit required documentation and coordinating return-to-work
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy
  • Respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims including the submission of appropriate documentation
  • Process wage garnishment and child support orders
  • Coordinate workers' compensation claims with third-party administrators. Follow up on claims if additional assistance is needed
  • Prepare and maintain weekly employee reports, new-hire and open position reports 
  • Coordinates the ordering of appropriate supplies
  • Assist HR team with other needs as necessary

What your background may look like:

  • 2+ years HR, payroll or accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to effectively communicate
  • UKG/Ultipro experience is a plus
